Discover Noel’s Journey

Noel Thompson became an archaeologist after watching Indiana Jones as a kid growing up in suburban New Jersey. After attending Boston University, Noel excavated in Belize, Spain, and Egypt, before receiving a Master’s degree from The University of Chicago based on research at the Giza Pyramids’ Khufu Solar Boat.

Later, during a voyage to French Polynesia, on a fifty-foot sailboat that Noel and her family were living aboard, a storm tore off the mainsail. She backtracked to Panama with stories bursting to be written, while homeschooling her three daughters.

Soon, she traded in the trade winds for the good air of Buenos Aires. In this vibrant city inspiring her intriguing international voice, Noel has co-written two four-quadrant feature treatments, consulted on a psychological drama script in pre-production, and punched up an international rom-com feature.

Currently living in the United States with a healthy amount of international travel throughout the calendar,
Noel continues to develop, write, and polish her scripts, while working on her own short films.
She also assists her fellow screenwriters, producers, and filmmakers to help their visions come to life.
